The new Prysmian closure can accommodate a wide range of cables and guarantee the protection of optical joints in outdoor environments, thanks to the watertight closure.
These closures, quilified by TIM, are suitable for splicing cables in aerial environments, underground or inside ducts and for tapping and extraction of fibers. The degree of protection is IP68, they are equipped with a hermetically sealed opening and closing system (closing ring), pressurization valve and are complete with junction cards, support brackets and accessories for sealing the cables. The inputs are compatible with cables with a diameter between 4 and 23 mm.
