Optical source and Power meter are fundamental tools for measuring optical fiber networks.
The optical source is an instrument that uses a laser or LED diode as a stabilized light emitter and is used in pairs with another instrument (Power Meter) which measures the level of power received, determining the attenuation of an optical fiber section. Optical source: Working wavelength 1310/1550 nm, with the possibility of other wavelengths up to a maximum of four. Power Meter: Available with a sensitivity in reception between 850 ÷ 1650 nm.
