The company was founded in 2001 and is built on a strong technical background, rooted in the expertise of its founder, Giancarlo Trinei, who was among the first professionals appointed by the Italian government to certify the earliest fiber optic links installed in Italy during the 1980s.<\/p>\n\n

Giancarlo\u2019s strong innovative drive led to the development of numerous groundbreaking products over the years, culminating in 2021 with the launch of our first cable blowing machine, \u201cLady\u201d.<\/p>\n\n

In 2010, the company began its generational transition, welcoming Matteo, Marta, and Ismael (Marta\u2019s husband) into the business, marking a new phase of growth while preserving the company\u2019s founding values.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

I have been working with fiber optics since the early 1980s, when the first fiber optic systems were being deployed in Italy. I took part in the installation and testing of the first submarine cables laid in the country on behalf of the Italian Ministry of Telecommunications. This experience allowed me to witness and contribute to the technological evolution of fiber optics from its earliest stages of adoption in Italy.<\/p>

Fibernet was founded from a personal desire to challenge myself and to contribute my technical expertise to the field of fiber connectivity.<\/p>

I’m a practical person, with a passion for logical and resolving solutions. What drives me in my work is the ambition to develop innovative technologies that raise industry standards and make the job easier for those who use our products. I value surrounding myself with skilled technicians and engineers who can bring real added value to our company and our projects.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

I have a deep connection to Italy<\/strong> and, since childhood, I dreamed of becoming an Alitalia pilot \u2014 not so much for the role itself, but for the pride of representing our country around the world. I have a strong passion for engines, and I enjoy bringing that distinctive \u2018Italian touch<\/strong>\u2019 into our products, inspired by the excellence of our automotive heritage. <\/p>

I see running a company much like managing a football team<\/strong>: when the organization\u2019s goal is clear and every person is in the right role and given the conditions to perform at their best, the team becomes successful and ambitious goals can be achieved.<\/p>
